THE COLLECTION STARTS BEFORE THE SHELF

Good libraries begin with good handoffs.

ROMarr handles the work before a game lands in your library: find it, check what you have, understand the match, and send it to the destination you control.

01 / FROM SEARCH TO SHELF

A clear path for every game.

Keep the useful context in view at every step. ROMarr works with the sources and destinations you configure.

01

Find

Search configured indexers, plugins, and download sources. Compare releases before adding one to your queue.

SEARCH WITH CONTEXT
03

Import

File games into a folder library or an optional RomM, Gaseous, or Retrom destination. Your player can stay your own.

CHOOSE YOUR DESTINATION

Verification depends on a matching DAT. An unknown result means the file could not be matched to available data; it does not mean the file is damaged.

02 / FOUR TOOLS, ONE COLLECTION

Each one has a part to play.

A practical stack, with each project focused on the job it does best. Connect the pieces that fit your setup.

RomM

Scan, organize, enrich, and play a self-hosted game collection.

Visit RomM

Keep the boundaries clear. ROMarr is independent. RomM remains the library backend for Cartridge; Yarr.It is a separate browser-first player. Integrations are optional and described only where they work today.

03 / A SHARED DIRECTION

Make the whole journey feel joined up.

Separate projects can move in unison when each handoff is useful, optional, and tested end to end.

ALIGNMENT PLAN · NO PROMISED DATES

This is a shared direction, not a combined release schedule. Each project keeps its own roadmap and validation.

01
FOUNDATION

Build a dependable library path

ROMarr keeps improving setup, platform-folder guidance, diagnostics, and integration evidence. RomM stays the rich, self-hosted home for the collection.

02
NEXT CONNECTION

Make play feel native on every screen

Cartridge brings the RomM library to Windows and Xbox. Future acquisition-to-device flows belong here only after the destination, protocol, and recovery path are proven.

EXPLORE

Bring browser discovery closer to the library

Yarr.It already searches and plays supported media in the browser, including ROMs. A future handoff should keep sources user-controlled and work across the real products before it is called an integration.

Follow Yarr.It development

ROMarr does not currently transfer a game directly to Cartridge for Xbox. This stays a research item until a real, tested destination flow exists.
